The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve the business community through various educational events and seminars every month. Each educational workshop is presented by highly respected individuals in the field and are offered during convenient times of the work day. As a membership bonus, most of the following educational events are complimentary to Chamber members and are open to nonmembers for a fee, as well.

Business Needs To Know features workshops on the latest and most essential business information necessary to compete in today’s economy. Seminar topics include marketing, social media, making a business plan, accounting, human resources, and more. Programs are led by highly qualified instructors from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in partnership with City of Beverly Hills. We also offer one-on-one business consultations with an instructor at the Chamber that are complimentary to our members and available to nonmembers at a general rate.

As the voice of business in Beverly Hills, the Chamber of Commerce advocates to the City on behalf of the local business community through the Government Affairs Committee (GAC). This body meets on the third Thursday of every month in the Chamber’s Boardroom addressing issues such as urban planning, transportation, development, taxation, and state and regional legislation that impact the business community. Every meeting we are joined by significant players in local government and highly engaged citizens of Beverly Hills, so please come join the conversation.

The Health & Wellness Committee offers a series of lunchtime Health Talks that cover a variety of medical topics that concern not only the healthcare community but the overall wellness of the local community. These lunch and learns feature highly qualified physicians and are an excellent way to develop new referrals and connections. Health Talks are free for members and open to nonmembers for a fee. Lunch is provided.

The Military Veterans Commerce Committee’s (MVCC) mission is to support the Chamber’s veteran-owned and veteran-friendly businesses and to offer educational, marketing, advocacy, and networking opportunities to veterans. MVCC holds quarterly educational seminars given by veterans, community leaders, and even members of the Secret Service. Topics include cyber security, suicide prevention training, fraud, and more. These talks are not exclusive to veterans and are usually followed by a networking mixer.
