In the resplendent halls of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, beneath the twinkling allure of crystal chandeliers, a transformative evening unfolded at the 2nd Annual Women Who Shine Gala. The event not only celebrated the spirit of women but also served as a beacon of support for Girls Inc. of Los Angeles, all involved found themselves immersed in anticipation. The stage was set for an unforgettable celebration — a celebration of resilience, determination, and above all, empowerment. Arriving at the foyer, guests were greeted by the sight of a pink step and repeat. Attendees paused to capture moments of connection and camaraderie, their smiles reflecting the shared sense of purpose.

As guests made their way into the Astoria Ballroom, they were met with a soft glow of sunlight, florals, palms, and enchanting peacock feathers. Our keynote speakers, Candace and Jamie, took center stage. Their words resonated deeply with all in attendance, igniting sparks of inspiration and possibility in every heart. As the evening progressed, guests were invited to explore cocktails and culinary delights at Espelette. Attendees savored delectable appetizers and libations generously provided by our beverage sponsors. Displayed at the after party, renowned artist Ash Beheshti (Instagram: @ash_artist) captivated gala attendees by generously donating the proceeds of his art directly to Girls Inc. His mixed media style blends newspaper scraps, vintage photographs, and Xeroxed text, enhanced with acrylic paint and original macro photography. Through adept manipulation of lines, shapes, and colors, Beheshti transforms his vision into captivating compositions, embodying the spirit of empowerment celebrated at the event.
The collaborative efforts of sponsors, supporters, and attendees crafted an occasion not merely to applaud the accomplishments of women, but to ignite inspiration in all that attended.
