Some settings seem made for important conversations, and few places capture the character of Beverly Hills quite like Greystone Mansion and Gardens.

Against the backdrop of one of the city’s most celebrated historic landmarks, the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce welcomed business leaders, elected officials, entrepreneurs, residents, and community partners for An Evening with the Mayor: State of the City 2026.

The annual signature event brought together the people who live, work, invest, and do business in Beverly Hills for an evening centered on connection, civic engagement, and a shared look at the city’s future.

A Conversation at Greystone

This year’s State of the City departed from the traditional podium address in favor of a live conversation. The Honorable Mayor Craig Corman sat down with Emmy Award-winning NBC4 anchor and journalist Robert Kovacik for an engaging discussion highlighting the Mayor’s priorities and vision for Beverly Hills.

The Mayor’s Priorities

During the 2026 State of the City Address, Mayor Corman emphasized fiscal responsibility, public safety, and new business development as part of his main objectives during his mayoral term.

Business and Community Come Together

The State of the City conversation was at the heart of the evening, but the connections taking place throughout Greystone were equally important.

Guests representing businesses and organizations from across Beverly Hills gathered with City leaders, community partners, and fellow Chamber members. Longtime colleagues reconnected, new introductions were made, and conversations continued well beyond the formal program.

That exchange is central to the Chamber’s mission. Events such as An Evening with the Mayor create opportunities for the business community to engage directly with civic leadership while strengthening the relationships that help Beverly Hills thrive.

An Evening to Remember

As the evening unfolded, guests enjoyed exceptional wines, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and live music throughout the historic grounds.

Greystone Mansion offered a distinctive setting for the occasion. Its architecture, formal gardens, and sweeping views provided a backdrop that reflected both the history and character of Beverly Hills.

The atmosphere balanced the significance of the State of the City with the warmth of a community gathering. Guests had the opportunity to enjoy the grounds, meet fellow members of the Beverly Hills community, and continue the evening’s conversations in one of the city’s most memorable settings.

Together, the setting, program, and people made the evening as much a celebration of Beverly Hills as a conversation about its future.
