On the morning of Friday, August 8th Levain Bakery celebrated its Beverly Hills Grand Opening with a team ribbon cutting. To mark the occasion, they hosted a fun giveaway and the first 100 people in line received a custom Levain Bakery Beverly Hills tote bag filled with fun bakery swag celebrating the community. 

To further celebrate the opening of their Beverly Hills bakery, Levain introduced brand new limited edition cookie flavor available exclusively at the new Beverly Hills bakery – Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Chip. This cookie, available for just one month, is a new twist on a classic, and a tribute to Levain’s original Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip cookie. 

“This cookie brings our classic peanut butter cookie recipe to life in a very big, very Levain way, ” explain founders Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald. Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Chip features a blend of rich and creamy and chunky peanut butter overloaded with chocolate chunks.  

All proceeds from Levain Bakery’s Beverly Hills’ opening day went to support Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles, whose mission is to combat hunger by providing meals, love, unity and community. To that end, OBKLA mobilizes volunteers in Los Angeles to cook and package meals for those facing food insecurity. Levain Bakery has donated proceeds from its bakery openings since 2009, and has an ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community as they continuously strive to be a force for good in each neighborhood they join.

Additionally, on an ongoing basis, any unsold baked goods will be donated to FoodCycle LA. FoodCycle is dedicated to intercepting surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, and offices and redirecting it to communities experiencing food insecurity across Los Angeles, transforming potential waste into nourishment. They serve individuals and families in food insecure households, including children, seniors, people experiencing homelessness, notably in communities of color and low income neighborhoods.

The Beverly Hills bakery offers Levain’s legendary six signature cookie flavors: Chocolate Chip Walnut, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip, Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Two-Chip Chocolate Chip and Coconut Caramel Chocolate Chip – all baked fresh, in-house daily. The lineup also includes a Vegan Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Walnut cookie, (a vegan, gluten-free version of the bakery’s most popular item), as well as Levain’s Summer seasonal offering, the Rocky Road cookie – a dark chocolate cookie packed with rich, semisweet chocolate chips, crunchy almonds, and pillowy marshmallows.

In addition to the full slate of Levain’s world-famous cookies, the bakery will also feature pastries such as their celebrated blueberry muffins, loaf cakes, bread and rolls, and decadent weekend-only sticky buns, all made fresh-in house. Levain is partnering with local LA roastery Canyon Coffee for all espresso beverages.

Additionally, this summer, Levain Bakery is scooping up fun with ‘Levain à la mode’, a delicious new offering available for a limited time. For the first time in its 30-year history, Levain partnered with local ice cream shops to serve premium scoops alongside its iconic six-ounce cookies. Levain Beverly Hills will offer Wanderlust Creamery’s Mascarpone Vanilla with the choice of any Levain cookie for a next-level summer treat!

The Beverly Hills Bakery is Levain’s third location in the Los Angeles area and is open 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm. They offer local pick-up and delivery via several platforms as well as local catering.
