The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce was proud to host another extraordinary International Chamber Mixer on August 13th at the newly renovated rooftop of L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. With sweeping city views as the backdrop, members and guests came together for an unforgettable evening of international networking, cultural exchange, and community.

Guests enjoyed signature hors d’oeuvres, fine wine, and refreshments while engaging in lively conversations that spanned industries and continents. The rooftop setting created the perfect atmosphere to foster meaningful cross-border relationships, explore global partnerships, and celebrate the diverse international business community that makes Beverly Hills a global hub.

The evening opened with a warm welcome from Mayor Sharona R. Nazarian, PsyD., who spoke on the importance of international engagement and Beverly Hills’ role as a city that embraces cultural diversity, diplomacy, and global business ties. Her words underscored the city’s ongoing commitment to being a welcoming hub for leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from around the world.

Mayor Nazarian was joined by Todd Johnson, President & CEO of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, who expressed gratitude to the many participating chambers, consulates, and community members. Johnson highlighted how events like the International Chamber Mixer create opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration, inspire innovation, and strengthen the city’s presence as a global destination. Their combined remarks set a tone of hospitality and partnership that resonated throughout the evening.

Adding to the atmosphere was the soulful performance of a live guitarist, whose warm vocals and elegant strumming filled the rooftop air. His music added a touch of artistry and romance, weaving seamlessly into the hum of conversations and the glow of the Beverly Hills sunset. The melodies carried a cosmopolitan charm, echoing the very spirit of the evening building harmony across borders.

The night’s excitement was elevated by an international raffle, with each chamber and consulate contributing prizes that reflected the richness of their countries. Guests eagerly participated for a chance to win fine dining vouchers, cultural experiences, luxury goods, and even travel opportunities. Special thanks to Polish entrepreneurs Helena and Stan Kołodziej, along with Teresa and Viola Turek, whose generous sponsorship of raffle prizes celebrated the strength of Polish-American business ties. The raffle embodied the evening’s collaborative spirit, offering tangible experiences that connected attendees with international culture.

The evening welcomed an especially distinguished group of international representatives. In addition to Poland, represented by Consul General Paulina Kapuścińska and Consul Mateusz Gmura, the rooftop gathering was honored by the presence of the EU Consuls General of Romania, Sweden, Lithuania, and France. Together, these leaders reinforced the spirit of global unity and cultural diplomacy at the heart of the mixer.

The Consulate General of Poland in Los Angeles reflected:

“The International Chamber Mixer gave us a wonderful opportunity to network with the representatives of international chambers and businesses, and to accentuate our presence as the sole Los Angeles consular mission.”

From Lithuania, Consul General Sandra Brikaitė and Economic Advisor Justina Jakavonytė remarked:

“Events like this help spark collaborations, inspire ideas, and create lasting links between people, industries, and cultures – further strengthening the bonds between Southern California and the global marketplace.”

The British American Business Council (BABC Los Angeles) played a valued role in the evening’s collaboration, supported by their valued partner Virgin Atlantic, who contributed a raffle prize that was paired with an innovative projected logo display. This dynamic brand presence bolstered Virgin Atlantic’s profile while underscoring BABC’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful transatlantic connections.

The British American Business Council reflected:

“Gatherings like this spark collaboration, inspire fresh ideas, and build lasting links across industries and cultures — further strengthening ties between Los Angeles and the global marketplace.”

The Chamber extends special thanks to Perduret, the evening’s beverage sponsor, whose elegant offerings carried an important mission: “Save the Bees.” Their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship was a refreshing complement to the international dialogue, reminding guests that global responsibility begins with everyday choices.

Our deepest thanks go to our fellow international chambers and councils whose collaboration made this gathering possible:

The International Chamber Mixer was more than a networking event, it was a celebration of cultural exchange, mutual respect, and shared opportunity. From music that stirred the soul to speeches that highlighted unity, from distinguished consuls to generous entrepreneurs, the evening was a vivid reminder of the power of international dialogue.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to L’Ermitage Beverly Hills for providing such a stunning setting, and to all who joined us for this vibrant evening of music, conversation, and connection.

The Beverly Hills Chamber looks forward to continuing to create platforms where global business leaders, innovators, and community members can meet, collaborate, and grow together.
