Set on 17.5 acres at the western gateway of the city, The One Beverly Hills will bring together the Aman Beverly Hills hotel, two Aman-branded residential towers, Aman Club, curated luxury retail and dining, wellness spaces, 10 acres of botanical gardens and open space, along with the thoughtful renovation of The Beverly Hilton. The scale and integration of these elements signal a transformative addition to the city’s new landmark.

The experience began with an introduction to the development leadership at CAIN Development, including Senior Managing Director & Head of Development Larry Green and Vice President of Development Scott Priester. The tour commenced at CAIN’s Century City office, a refined skyrise suite that serves as the operational nucleus of the project, where strategy and architecture converge.

At the center of the presentation was a remarkable three-dimensional architectural model of the entire development, envisioned by world-renowned architect Norman Foster. Crafted with precision, the model offered a bird’s-eye perspective of the master plan. This physical representation, paired with immersive digital renderings and a cinematic video presentation, brought the project to life in a way that transcended conventional planning review.

The presentation highlighted Aman’s signature approach seamlessly integrated into a Beverly Hills urban context. Residences, hotel accommodations, curated retail, and elevated amenities are all designed to coexist within a fully realized ecosystem of luxury.

An intriguing detail shared during the session underscored the sheer scale: the volume of earth excavated to date could fill wheelbarrows stretching from Beverly Hills to London. It is a vivid illustration of the magnitude of transformation currently underway.

The second phase of the tour transitioned from conceptual to physical. Crossing the boulevard, the group arrived at the southwestern cornerstone of the site. What now appears as a vast, open excavation is the foundation of a future landmark. Towering retaining walls, dense frameworks of rebar, and the early formation of structural cores reveal the complexity of engineering at work. Multiple cranes move in coordinated rhythm as the build continues.

The tour culminated at the illustrious “The New” Merv Griffin Way, a famous stretch of road connecting a section of Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvd, offering a compelling vantage point. This corridor, currently in transition, will evolve into a multi-level integrated thoroughfare framed by lush gardens and walkable design. 

CAIN Development’s The One Beverly Hills project represents one of the most ambitious mixed-use luxury developments in the United States. Over the course of three days, the delegation engaged with more than 25 businesses representing a range of industries including hospitality, restaurant concepts, retail, arts, and culture. The mission provided an opportunity to meet directly with founders, operators, and executives to discuss expansion strategies, evolving consumer expectations, and the unique environment Beverly Hills offers to businesses seeking an internationally recognized location. These conversations are part of the Chamber’s ongoing strategy to cultivate relationships with companies that align with the city’s distinctive ecosystem of luxury retail, fine dining, arts, and experiential destinations.

One highlight of the trip was a visit to Caracas Bakery, where Venezuelan-inspired sourdough breads and pastries reflect a strong commitment to cultural authenticity and craftsmanship. The family-owned concept stood out as an example of the kind of distinctive and experience-driven businesses that resonate with the curated environment of Beverly Hills. Another memorable visit took place at Marky’s Caviar, where the delegation learned about the company’s luxury caviar offerings and its commitment to sustainability through its Sturgeon Aquafarms in Bascom, Florida. Marky’s produces the only purebred Beluga caviar in the United States, demonstrating how heritage craftsmanship and responsible stewardship can coexist within the luxury food sector.

The delegation also explored several of Miami’s most influential hospitality and cultural destinations, gaining insight into how experiential environments shape tourism and civic identity. These included the acclaimed dining destinations MILA, LPM Restaurant & Bar, and Shingo, each known for blending culinary excellence with immersive design and atmosphere. Beyond hospitality, the group visited the celebrated cultural venues Faena Theater and Wynwood Walls, as well as the internationally recognized design showcase Design Miami. As the author of landmark statewide policies, Senator Allen offered clarity on how upcoming initiatives could shape the economic and regulatory landscape for Beverly Hills businesses in 2026 and beyond.

November – A Vision for Beverly Hills with Mayor Sharona Nazarian

In November, the Council welcomed Mayor Sharona R. Nazarian, PsyD, the first Iranian American woman to serve as Mayor of Beverly Hills. Mayor Nazarian outlined her achievements and signature initiatives, including BHPD Live Link, BH Fire Watch, Spotlight with Sharona, Sharona’s Innovation Circle, and expanded business engagement programs. Her address underscored a year defined by public safety, innovation, intergenerational unity, and community partnership.

October – The Future of Healthcare with Cedars-Sinai CEO Dr. Peter Slavin

October brought an extraordinary presentation from Dr. Peter Slavin, CEO of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and former President of Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Slavin offered high-level insight into innovation in clinical care, research leadership, workforce development, and the evolving demands of premier healthcare systems. His perspective highlighted Cedars-Sinai’s vital role in driving global excellence from right here in Beverly Hills.

September – Preparing for the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games

Representatives from LA28—Vic Nol and Rachel Chiu—briefed the Council on infrastructure, venue planning, transportation, hospitality readiness, and the economic opportunities ahead as Los Angeles prepares to host the world in 2028. Members gained clarity on how the Olympics will impact both regional strategy and local business activity.

August – Inside the BHPD K9 Unit

August’s program spotlighted Beverly Hills’ dedicated K9 Unit. Members learned about specialized training, tactical operations, and the mission of the BHPD K9 Foundation, which supports the long-term care and retirement needs of these service dogs. A live demonstration offered an unforgettable look at the partnership between officers and their canine counterparts.

June – Behind the Rose Parade® with CEO David Eads

CEO of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, David Eads, brought members inside the production of two of America’s most iconic events: the Rose Parade® and the Rose Bowl Game®. Eads shared operational insights, community impact, and the immense coordination that goes into hosting millions of viewers annually.

May – Public Safety Innovations with Chief Mark Stainbrook

Police Chief Mark Stainbrook briefed members on emerging law enforcement technologies—including the city’s growing drone program—and how Beverly Hills continues to set national standards in public safety. His remarks, rooted in decades of domestic and international experience, provided clarity and confidence in the city’s forward-facing safety strategy.

April – A Taste of Luxury at the B/S/H Showroom

The year opened with an immersive experience at the B/S/H Showroom on North Canon Drive, home to Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau. Members explored world-class craftsmanship and design innovation alongside a beautifully catered lunch from Bottega Louie, complete with Italian coffee and affogatos.

Above and beyond the monthly networking events, the Economic Development team advanced several strategic initiatives that strengthened Beverly Hills’ business ecosystem. Working alongside the City of Beverly Hills, the Chamber continued its annual New York City Mission, engaging luxury retailers and international brands interested in expanding into the Beverly Hills market. The team also partnered with City leadership on Mayoral Business Retention Meetings to connect with established businesses, gather insights, and provide tailored support. In addition, the Broker’s Roundtable brought together commercial brokers for quarterly conversations that offered real-time market updates and enhanced coordination with City departments. Together, these initiatives deepened relationships, supported growth, and reinforced Beverly Hills as a thriving global destination for business, culture, and innovation.

Meetings with renowned operators including Gabriel Kreuther, Jeju Noodle Bar, Fish Cheeks, Chatti, and Marky’s positioned Beverly Hills as the natural West Coast home for rising dining concepts seeking a discerning audience and high-impact exposure. Emerging trends such as cross-cultural fusion cuisines, including Thai, Caribbean, French, and more, were identified as compelling additions that align strongly with local demand and international visitor expectations. Additionally, several operators showed interest in activating through pop-ups before permanent leasing, offering an agile path to market and added vibrancy for our community.

Strengthening ongoing relationships with beloved Beverly Hills establishments such as Dante and Saks Fifth Avenue also ensured that business retention continues to be as proactive and prioritized as recruitment. Partners shared appreciation for the City’s exceptional public safety network, including fire, police, and community services, and the personalized engagement demonstrated by in-person visits from Beverly Hills leadership. Many expressed excitement about upcoming development milestones and the support available to align their brand activations with major city events and initiatives.

Our messaging resonated strongly as we showcased Beverly Hills’ unparalleled competitive advantages, including its global brand recognition, highly engaged resident and visitor base, responsive business environment, and major infrastructure investments including the Purple (D Line) Subway Extension and One Beverly Hills. These major projects bolster our economic momentum and expedite development opportunities that enable renewed energy flow and strategies. The delegation also emphasized that economic development efforts extend beyond the Business Triangle, supporting connection and vitality across all commercial districts.

Through these strategic engagements, the Chamber is driving meaningful expansion, supporting our current partners, and ensuring Beverly Hills continues to thrive as the leader in luxury commerce and experience. The most impactful element of the mission was the strengthening of key relationships, creating alignment on next-step collaborations, shared marketing efforts, and business activation planning that will shape the future of our city. Finding a preschool, elementary or middle school can be challenging and seems to be a weighty decision for families these days. If you are leaning towards a private school education, you must have considered a Catholic school. Beverly Hills has one. Good Shepherd Catholic School opened its doors on September 8, 1930 and has since been providing a Catholic education in a safe learning environment stressing spiritual growth, educational success, psychological and social stability and physical wellbeing. It offers a preschool program for three year olds and a rigorous academic program for elementary and middle school. You might think, does one need to be Catholic to be accepted into one? The answer is no.

On April 6th, 2022, we welcomed back our community to the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce’s largest annual event—Innovate Beverly Hills, presented by Bentley Beverly Hills and The Nightfall Group! After a two-year hiatus, we were elated to host a night at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts that featured engaging guest speakers, riveting live entertainment, gourmet culinary delights, and of course, an opportunity to celebrate and network amongst Beverly Hills’ best. With over 400 attendees, Innovate Beverly Hills was a hit amongst its guests, which included local and regional media, large conglomerates, small proprietorships, chief executives, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders. After two years of isolation, uncertainty, and unprecedented change, the themes of Innovate Beverly Hills rang true as industry leaders delved into how companies and organizations had to overcome, adapt, and innovate to fit the new business climate as well as the needs of our community.

To start off the evening, the audience was welcomed by City of Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse. As an introduction to the leaders of Beverly Hills, she invited City Council to the stage which included Vice Mayor Julian Gold M.D., Councilmember John Mirisch, Councilmember Lester Friedman, and Councilmember Bob Wunderlich.

We were honored to have President and Co-Founder of Quay Entertainment, Tiffany Davis, as our lovely host for the evening. Tiffany is an accomplished event, marketing and fundraising executive specializing in the development and management of celebrity driven, high-profile events. She has line produced and managed numerous events; from multi-day festivals and conferences to multiple concurrent live performance stages and live televised content. Her lively, gracious personality set the tone for the rest of the night, as she welcomed our esteemed guests to discuss lessons they learned from the pandemic, how they innovated their business in response, and where they are headed now.

Prior to gaining insight from industry leaders, our audience was treated with a special musical performance from the Grammy Award-winning Los Angeles Children’s Chorus with Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz. This group serves more than 300 children ages 6 to 18 through 7 choirs and is currently in its 36th season. LACC is even featured in alumna Billie Eilish’s new film, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. Their performance wowed our guests and reminded us all of the bright, young talent that our community offers.

For our first distinguished speaker, we were joined by Erin Bronner, Sr. Manager Communications and Brand Experience at Bentley Motors. Her expertise in the automotive industry spans over 14 years! Erin is responsible for managing all third-party validation of the brand, which includes experiential programming, social media integration and corporate social responsibility. During her talk, she discussed how the industry had to adapt when it came to launching new cars, showcasing vehicles, and the entire car buying experience during a time of isolation. This shift also brought about a demand for hybrid vehicles that can balance sustainability with luxury. Erin’s insight allowed us to learn more about the automotive industry’s developments towards a new and improved future.

Our next fireside chat was with healthcare hero Soniya Gandhi, MD, MPH, Vice President Medical Affairs and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Gandhi oversees patient safety, hospital epidemiology, medical staff governance, and various quality initiatives. Dr. Gandhi is dually certified in infectious disease and internal medicine, making her a qualified voice when it came to discussing the pandemic and its effects. She delved into how COVID-19 pushed research in other important areas, including HIV and flu vaccinations, which are critical leaps taken in the medical community. Dr. Gandhi also discussed the innovation behind digital, virtual care options that have been more widespread and accessible because of the pandemic. She then addressed the harmful effects that miscommunication had on our community, as much of the misinformation would overshadow scientific data. Dr. Gandhi highlighted the silver linings surrounding this pandemic and left us with hope for a brighter tomorrow.

The final innovative speaker to join us on stage was none other than Ned Colletti, former Major League Baseball Executive and three-time Emmy Award-winning baseball analyst. Ned Colletti Jr. has spent the past 40 years working in professional sports and is one of the few American sports executives to work in two major league sports – Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League. With experience as the former General Manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers and as a professional scout for the NHL, Ned weighed in on the current state of the sports industry and discussed its major shifts over the past two years. He also talked about how the athletes were faring during this time. Lastly, Ned chatted about his current teaching position at Pepperdine University and tied in the impact that COVID has had on education with the mass-introduction of virtual learning. Ned’s key message was that he hoped that we all were able to start appreciating the little things and discovering new things about ourselves and our industries that we will carry past this pandemic.

Holiday Spirit is more important than ever amidst these challenging times, and the Rodeo Drive

Beverly Hills has a long tradition of immersive holiday decorations, and this installation will be no different, blending festive spirit with the runways of Paris, Milan, and New York. Nine mannequins will appear to be walking the runways dressed in merry holiday apparel, surrounded by lights and oversized ornaments. There will also be the addition of a tenth mannequin at the entrance of Two Rodeo Drive creating a space where you can capture your own Holiday memories.

This festivity will provide a magical holiday feeling to drivers and pedestrians whether passing through or safely shopping at our local Beverly Hills businesses.

Beginning Sunday, November 22 until Saturday, December 26, the My Beverly Hills Program will be doing a five week shop local initiative for the holidays in Beverly Hills. Each week shoppers will be given an opportunity to win raffle prizes valued at $50 – $75 from local businesses if they spend $200 at any Beverly Hills business. Shoppers who spend a cumulative of $600 at the end of the five weeks will automatically be entered into a grand prize raffle valued at $300.

In order to take advantage of the offer, shoppers must keep their receipts and send them to mybeverlyhills@beverlyhillschamber.com. The amount does not need to be spent all in one place, but please include all receipts in one email thread with your first name, last name, and My Beverly Hills in the subject of all email submissions.

All receipts must include a visible Beverly Hills business name, date of purchase, and total amount spent. For all online orders from national businesses and corporations, shoppers must be able to show proof that the transaction was made and charged from the Beverly Hills location. Please use the same email address and email thread each week in order to be counted towards the $600 cumulative amount at the end of the five weeks to automatically be entered into the grand prize raffle.
