The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Santa Monica College, the Lawyer Referrel & Information Service, and the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce present educational and professional development workshops throughout the year to help introduce you to new ways of growing your business, spotlighting trends, increasing your bottom line, and improving your expertise. Past workshop topics have included, among others, risk management, human resources, social media, and writing press releases.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE (GAC)
As the voice of business in Beverly Hills, the Chamber of Commerce advocates on behalf of the local business community through the Government Affairs Committee (GAC). This body meets the third Thursday of every month in the Chamber’s Board Room addressing issues such as urban planning, transportation, development, taxation and state and regional legislation that impact the business community.
LEGAL LUNCH & LEARN: A BROWN BAG SERIES
The Chamber has partnered with the Beverly Hills Bar Association to present “Legal Lunch & Learn: A Brown Bag Series.” Every other month an experienced lawyer from the Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) presents on a legal subject of interest. This seminar is designed to bring valuable legal information to the Beverly Hills business community all during your lunch hour. Take advantage of a special lunch offer from a Chamber member business and enjoy lunch while learning from an experienced member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Past topics include: intellectual property, employment law, and tax law.
