Economic Development

Our Goal

One of the goals of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce is to increase the economic “pie” – to grow business for our Chamber members, and also to attract new businesses to the region.

The Chamber participates in a number of activities to ensure the long term growth of Beverly Hills and Beverly Hills adjacent economies.

Economic Development Council

The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Economic Development Council (EDC) meets monthly for a luncheon. EDC is an elite group of businessmen and women in the City who meet to network and engage with a high-caliber speaker on important policy, business and economic topics. The EDC provides access for its members to the latest information on regional business trends and activities, not only in the City, but also throughout the region. The exclusive investment opportunity of Economic Development Council annual membership is $2,700.

Learn more about EDC by contacting the Director of Economic Development & Government Affairs, Brittany Ganson. Phone: 310.248.1000,109 Email: Ganson@beverlyhillschamber.com

New York City Mission

In conjunction with the City of Beverly Hills, the Chamber organizes annual trips to New York City to attract new business to Beverly Hills. The trip encompasses visits to some of New York’s finest restaurants, retailers, and professional organizations, to encourage their businesses to open a branch in the City of Beverly Hills to lend further prestige and renown for their businesses. The Chamber and City of Beverly Hills have established deep and productive relationships with businesses in Manhattan through this mission.

Mayoral Business Retention Meetings

In collaboration with the City of Beverly Hills, the Chamber organizes a series of meetings between local businesses and the Mayor in an effort to gain a better understanding of the nature of the business environment, the challenges they face, and what the City and Chamber can do to assist. Beverly Hills has been able to identify solutions during these meetings that will help to make the City of Beverly Hills a more attractive place for businesses to operate.

Broker’s Roundtable

The Broker’s Roundtable meets four times a year, twice with commercial brokers and twice with office brokers and senior City officials. These meetings are intended for brokers to gather and share information about the latest developments in the City’s commercial landscape. In addition, these groups work to develop effective strategies to increase leasing activity within the City.
